Day 1 - Arrival in Sagres: Arrival in Sagres where you will begin your journey. 

Day 2 - Costa Vicentina: Start your walk in Costa Vicentina Natural Park, a wild place where nature and history combine creating impressive landscapes. 

Day 3 - Serra de Monchique: From the majestic landscape of the Atlantic Ocean, you will enter the Monchique Mountains, the highest point in the Algarve. Enjoy a superb walk with stunning views and explore the wooded hills, fragrant orchards and crystal clear springs.

Day 4 - Barrocal: Today you will experience the Barrocal where the coast meets the mountains. Covered in Orange Groves, Fig Trees, Carob and Almond the area is known as Bierra-Serra and is the main supplier of agricultural products of the Algarve.

Day 5 - Ria Formosa: Walk by the sea in the Natural Park of Ria Formosa, one of the seven natural wonders of Portugal. The park is characterised by the presence of sandy coastal dunes that protect a wide lagoon area stretching along the coast from Ancao to Castro Marim. The combination of the water and the salt marshes creates an idyllic landscape which is the ideal refuge for wildlife.

Day 6 - Serra do Caldeirao: Today you will walk through the mountains do Caldeirao, The area connects to Alentejo and these hills are called the 'other Algarve' by the local people. This walk will take you to the ancient times where life if paced more slowly.

Day 7 - Baixo Guadiana: Continue through to Alcoutim where Portugal is bordered by Spain through the emblematic river Guadiana. In Alcoutim you can enjoy the unique and tranquil beauty of the natural Algarve. Learn all about the ancient heritage of past civilisations and the explore the well-preserved castles and architecture. 

Day 8 - Depart: Return home or stay a few more nights in the Algarve.
