Day 1: Santiago
You will be met at Santiago’s international airport and taken to your bed and breakfast. You are located in the Providencia district just south of Santiago Metropolitan Park, which has several trails, a Japanese garden and the National Zoo.

Day 2: Santiago To Punta Arenas To Puerto Natales
Take a pre-dawn flight to Chilean Patagonia. Meet with your local trekking guide in Punta Arenas who will then accompany you on a bus ride to Puerto Natales. On the way, soak up the beautiful views of the ocean and snow-capped peaks. On arrival take a hike just outside the city to see recently uncovered archaeological ruins. In the evening, explore the quaint town of Puerto Natales then spend the night at our partner lodge.

Day 3: Puerto Natales To Refugio Las Torres
After breakfast, head off using private transport to Torres del Paine National Park, drop your full packs at the refugio and begin the trek. Ascend through a rocky terrain cut by pristine glacial rivers gaining two thousand feet as you climb through a beautiful lenga forest to the Base de las Torres (Base of the Towers) and the emerald lake below. Return to the mountain lodge for the evening.

Total Hiking: approximately 12.5 miles (20 km) - 8 hours of trekking (day pack only today)
Day 4: Refugio Las Torres To Refugio Los Cuernos
Spend the majority this trek on a trail lying between Lake Nordenskjold and Mount Almirante Nieto of the Paine Massif. On arrival at Refugio Los Cuernos, wonder at the outcrops of granite peaks or “The Horns”, the two famous horned peaks, Cerro Hoja and Cerro Máscara.

Total Hiking: approximately 7 miles (11.3 km) / 7-8 hours of trekking
Day 5: Refugio Los Cuernos To Refugio Paine Grande
Head out from Los Cuernos and hike through Torres’ old-growth forest. Pass by the French Camp and arrive at the Italian Camp and the start to the French Valley. From here you just carry your daypack for a hike into the French Valley. If you’re feeling up to it, hike an additional 8 miles (13 km) round-trip into the French Valley for stunning 360 views of the park.

Total Hiking: approximately 9 miles (14.5 km) / 7-8 hours OR 17 miles (27km) / 12 hours of trekking
Day 6: Refugio Paine Grande To Refugio Grey
Today, there is a hike to the Grey Glacier, an impressive ice field that covers the west end of the park. Enjoy the beauty of Pehoé Lake and Grey Lake as you approach the glacier. In the afternoon, relax on the porch of Refugio Grey where you will stay for the night.

Total Hiking: approximately 7 miles (11.3 km) / 4-5 hours trekking
Day 7: Refugio Grey
Make your way along Grey Glacier toward Campamento Paso. Scale ladders and enjoy views of the glacier before returning to the lodge for dinner.

Total Hiking: approximately 6-7 miles (9-11 km) / 6-8 hours trekking
Day 8: Refugio Grey To Puerto Natales
Spend one final half day in the park. A 3-4 hour walk to the lake and the catamaran which will take you out of the park and back to Pehoé. A bus will be waiting to take you on a scenic ride back to Puerto Natales. Share a farewell to Chile dinner with your guide before a restful night in our partner lodge.

Day 9: Puerto Natales To Calafate To El Chaltén
Take a bus from Puerto Natales to Calafate and there transfer to a minivan for the journey to the lodge in El Chaltén. Spend the evening exploring the quaint town of El Chaltén.

Day 10: El Chaltén To Laguna Torre / Thorwood Camp
Leave the hotel and head West, hiking along the Fitz Roy river en route to Laguna Torre and Grand Glacier. At the end of the valley, see Laguna Torre, its glacier, and the famous Mt. Cerro Torre, which is considered one of the most difficult mountains in the world to climb. Overnight at Thorwood Camp that evening.

Total Hiking: approximately 6 miles (9.6 km) / 4 hours trekking
Day 11: Hike To Mt. Fitz Roy / Camp Poincenot
Head North for another day of magnificent views passing three more lakes Madre, Hija, and Nieta. Continue to Camp Poincenot where you will be staying the night. Drop your bags and take a steep path toward Laguna de Los Tres, the closest you can get to Mt Fitz Roy before needing technical skills. At the top, enjoy breathtaking views of Mt. Fitz Roy, its satellite mountains, and the valley through which you have come.

Day 12: Poincenot To El Pilar To Laguna Condor
Hike towards El Pilar where a minivan will be waiting to take you to Laguna Condor Mountain Hut. Relax in the hot tub or take a bike for a ride around the area.

Total Hiking: approximately 5 miles (8 km) / 3 hours trekking
Day 13: Laguna Condor To Chalten To Calafate
After breakfast at your mountain lodge, head back to El Chaltén followed by the bus ride back to El Calafate.

Day 14: Calafate To Perito Moreno To Calafate
Take a bus ride to Perito Moreno where you'll have the day to explore the stunning Perito Moreno Glacier. The 97 square mile glacier stretches for as far as the eye can see and you will be awe-inspired by this expansie of the blue ice.

Day 15: Departures From Calafate
