Day 1 - Arrival in Costa Teguise: Arrive in Lanzarote at Arrecife Airport and enjoy a short transfer from the airport to the hotel in Costa Teguise. For the rest of the day you are free to enjoy the beach resort of Costa Teguise.

Day 2 - Costa Teguise - Haria: Today will be spent cycling from Costa Teguise to the inland town of Haría. Along the route you will have the opportunity to visit Manrique's famous works such as El Jardín de Cactus, Los Jameos del Agua, El Mirador del Río which form an integral part of the volcanic landscape. You also have the opportunity to visit the volcanic cave of La Cueva de los Verdes. Along the journey you will enjoy fishing villages without losing sight of the impressive Monte Corona. Finally you arrive in the picturesque village of Haría surrounded by a number of wonderful palm trees. Approximate daily distance: 34, 45, 52 km / 19, 28, 32 miles

Day 3 - Haria - San Bartolome: From Haría, cycle down the road down towards Teguise, the one-time capital of this unique island. The route will provide spectacular views down over the coast. Teguise itself is a delightful small town with typical architecture and many pleasant bars allowing for a delicious meal out in the evening. From here continue towards San Bartolomé and the fascinating wine-producing area of La Geria towards the country hotel where you will be spending the next two nights. Approximate daily distance: 29 or 43 km or 18 or 28 miles

Day 4 - San Bartolome: Today is your free day whether you choose to relax, enjoy a round cycle ride or both, it is up to you. The round cycle ride will take you towards the beautiful beach of Famara with spectacular backdrops of volcanic cliffs and coast. Following the coast you will cycle across lava fields that look similar to a lunar landscape before heading back to San Bartolome. Approximate daily distance: 50km / 31 m

Day 5 - San Bartolome - Playa Blanca: From San Bartolome head towards the mainland's best attraction, the Parque Nacional de Timanfaya - Here you will discover Lanzarote's volcanic nature at its best! The eruptions of 1730 - 1736 buried around a quarter of the whole island including several villages and it is now the spectacular lunar landscape you see today. From here you will cycle down to the south of the island stopping on route to enjoy the seaside crater of El Golfo before reaching the seaside village of Playa Blanca. Day 6 - Playa Blanca: Playa Blanca sits at the very south of this Volcanic island and looks out across to neighboured island, Fuerteventura. Today you have the opportunity to visit Correljo and experience a cycle ride on this island. Alternatively you can spend the day in Playa Blanca and enjoy soaking up the sun with a visit to the beaches of Papagayo. You could also head to El Golfo for a seafood lunch on the beach. Approximate daily distance: Route to El Golfo 36km/20m or Fuerteventura Circuit 70km / 43m

Day 7 - Playa Blanca - Arrecife: From Playa Blanca head across the dramatic hills of Femes before heading into the wine country of La Geria. This unusual vineyard has cultivated techniques that have given rise to the fascinating landscape, it also produces some fine wines! You will then descend to the coast and follow along the nice promenade of Puerto del Carmen along to Arrecife. Approximate daily distance: 47km / 30m

Day 8: Departure: Transfer to the airport.
