Day 1 - Arrive in Torroella de Montgri: Arrive at your hotel and enjoy a welcome meeting and get set up ready with your bicycle. The hotel is situated in one of the most typical countryside areas of the l'Emporda.

Day 2 - Torroella de Montgri Circular Route:  A good loop ride is available to follow the Daro River and visit some small but very charming medieval villages such as Rupia, Foixa and Púbol. In Púbol be sure to pay a visit to the Gala Dalí Castle and discover the surrealist world of the prominent Catalan artist Salvador Dalí. You can also take the opportunity to rest by the pool, or stroll to the beach today. Approximate daily distance: 40 km / 25 m

Day 3 - Torroella de Montgri - Sant Pere Pescador: Today you will cycle down to the sea and enjoy the marvellous countryside of the mouth of the River Ter. You will then cycle around the Montgrí massif, passing the medieval village of Bellcaire dEmpordà. Upon your return you will be able to visit the seaside at  l'Escala, a lovely fishing village famous for its anchovies. You could also pay a visit the historical medieval complex of St. Martí dEmpúries and the famous Ruins of Empúries. Approximate daily distance: 45 km - 28 m

Day 4 - Sant Pere Pescador Circular Route: Today you can visit the Natural Park of l'Empordà wetlands, a protected area that is of great importance. During the second part of the itinerary, you will go through Castelló dEmpúries, an important medieval village. There is also an optional visit to the area of the winery and olive oil making, factory at the foot of the Alberes mountains. Approximate daily distance: 52 km - 32 m

Day 5 - Sant Pere Pescador - Madremanya: Today's route takes you from the Alt Empordà region to the region of Baix Empordà. The cycle route will take you through the most interior part of the region and the hilly areas on the western borders of the alluvial plain. During today you will be able to visit typical rural villages, such as Sant Miquel de Fluvià, with its Romanesque monastery and magnificent tower and then Sant Mori and the beautiful castle. Cycle past Verges, a medieval village with the remains of its ancient walls, and Foixà, where you can enjoy the views of the Baix Empordà. After passing the medieval villages of La Pera and Púbol you reach Monells or Madremanya. Approximate daily distance: 47 km - 30 m

Day 6 - Madremanya - Calella de Palafrugell: Today's cycle route will take you from Monells or Madremanya down to the coast again. The route goes through a large number of medieval settlements including Cruilles, Peratallada and Ullastret. You will also have the opportunity to visit La Bisbal dEmpordà, the region's capital, with its medieval castle and its pottery museum. You will then arrive at your accommodation in the old fishing village of Calella de Palafrugell, which still retains its original charm, in one hotel located on the top of a hill, with a magnificent view over the settlement of Calella. Approximate daily distance: 47 km - 30 m

Day 7 - Calella de Palafrugell - Torroella de Montgri: Today you will return to Torroella de Montgrí through the Èmpornadet area, with a great variety of beautiful landscapes and culture to enjoy along the way. Visit the magnificent medieval historical and monumental village of Pals. Today's route will also run through the interesting area of the Pals rice fields. Approximate daily distance: 37 km - 23 miles
