Every room is fully-equipped with tools, things of everyday life and farm machinery providing insights into the way of life on a traditional farm. The grain was stored on the upper floor and, thanks to the missing flue, also dried by the smoke. Therefore, the original name of this Mondseeland farm type was "Rauchhaus" (Smoke House).
