The bow and stern of the Caique come equipped with large cushion are perfect for enjoying relaxing moments overlooking the beautiful surroundings. Comfortable cabins, air conditioning and private services on board, provide maximum comfort during your overnight stays. Our onboard catering is our pride. By utilising old recipes from seaside villages we provide you with carpaccio, fresh seafood and vegetables, pasta, meat and Mediterranean herbs for a beautiful Italian supper. This tour includes accommodation in a double cabin with private facilities, full board from the dinner of day 1 to the breakfast of day 8 (picnic lunches), Italian/English speaking guide, cycle hire, sheets and towels (1 change per week), 4 overnights in port.

Day 1 Individual arrival. Embarkation will take place at 18.00 at the port of Viareggio. The first evening will feature a welcome drink, presentation of the programme and then the overnight stay onboard.
Day 2 Viareggio Lucca Viareggio (32km or 64km). After departing from Viareggio, the tour crosses the Nature Reserve of Massacuiccoli Lake on route towards Lucca. On arrival in Lucca, cycling through a tour of the ancient city walls surrounding the historical city centre. The return to Viareggio is by train, however you have the option to cycle back using the circular route. Dinner and an overnight stay is then held in the port of Viareggio.
Day 3 Viareggio Pisa Marina di Pisa (40km). Today the tour leaves Viareggio, heading towards Pisa; along the coastline and the borders of the National San Rossore Park. On arrival in Pisa, there is a break in Piazza dei Miracoli with the option of visiting the Tower and Cathedral. The day ends in the port of Marina di Pisa. Dinner is served onboard the Caique with an overnight stay.
Day 4 Cala dei Medici Bolgheri C. Carducci San Vincenzo (56km). The tour begins onboard the Caique today, as you sail from Marinia di Pisa towards Cala dei Medici; where the tour then continues by bike. Crossing the beautiful pinewood forest, the tour heads towardsBolgheri and Castagneto Carducci. The day ends on Arrival at the port of San Vincenzo.
Day 5 San Vincenzo Populonia Isola dElba (34km). Departing San Vincenzo, the tour visits the village of Campiglia Marittima on route to the Gulf of Baratti and Populonia; where you have the opportunity to visit many of the Etruscan archaeological remains. The tour then embarks in Baratti and begins sailing towards the Island of Elba where dinner and the overnight stay is held id Marina di Campo.
Day 6 Marina di Campo Porto Azzuro (38km). Departing the Marina di Campo, the tour guides you along the south of the Island, reaching the quaint market town of Fetovaia. The tour then leads you through the village of Lacona, towards to Porto Azzurro. This evening you are free to expolore the culture and dine out, with your overnight stay in the port of Porto Azzuro.
Day 7 Porto Azzurro Cavo (25km). The final day takes you through some of the most charming landscapes on the Island. From Porto Azzurro, the tour cycles east, along the panoramic road towards Rio nellElba, Rio Marina and Cavo. The day ends sailing to San Vincenzo, where dinner will be served before the overnight stay.
Day 8 San Vincenzo Departure. This morning the disembarkation will take place at 9.00am as we see the end of the tour.
The captain and the guide reserve the right to make alterations to the itinerary, depending on wind, sea and weather conditions or organisational requirements.
The direction of the tour will be in reverse each week: one week it will start in Venice, and one week it will start in Trieste.
