The North Sardinia - Costa Smeralda

All cabins aboard the caique Scorpion V are simple but functional. They are furnished with a comfortable bed, a wardrobe and enough space for luggage (excluding rigid luggage). Outside on the deck there is a large solarium with mattresses for all guests. The back deck is covered and has a table for breakfasts and dinners. We pride ourselves on our onboard catering which is a result of utilising old recipes from seaside villages. Fresh seafood and vegetables, pasta, meat, the cheeses of Sardinia, and the herbs of the Mediterranean are an absolute must on our table. Departure every week from 23rd April to 25th June and from 3rd September to 22nd October. 8 days, 7 nights from Saturday to Saturday

Day 1 - Individual arrival. Embarkation at 18.00 at the Marina di Olbia (OT). Welcome drink, dinner and presentation of the program.
Day 2 - Leave Olbia, cycling along the Costa Dorata (Golden Coast)towards Punta Aldia, where you will visit Loiri, Vaccileddi and Fralli. Take some time to stop and admire the wonderful views of the Islands of Tavolara, Molara e Punta Coda Cavallo. Meet up with the Scorpion V at Punta Aldia and return with the boat to Olbia, sailing in the Natural Sea Reserve of Tavolara.
Day 3 - Sail to the Gulf of Marinella and Punta Marana where you then begin cycling along the coast until you reach Porto Rotondo and Porto Cervo. Continue cycling towards Poltu Quatu, “Porto nascosto”, a port that was built inside a natural cave. Return on board and stay overnight in the roadstead.
Day 4 - Cycle from Poltu Quatu towards Cannigione, where you can admire the huge granite rock forms left by the work of the elements. Continue along the coastal road passing La Conia and some lovely beaches. Take in the wonderful view of the Gulf of Saline and the Caprera Island. At the end of the day you reach Palau where you return on board Scorpion V for dinner. Stay overnight in the roadstead in Porto Rafael.
Day 5 - Today starts by sailing to the Maddalena. Tour the area and then continue to Caprera, the island famous for being the home of Giuseppe Garibaldi, an Italian military and political figure from the 1800s. Here you can visit his house and his boats which are now property of the local Museum. Return to the Maddalena. Free dinner and overnight stay in port.
Day 6 - Set sail for Porto Rafael, from this little harbour you will start cycling along the west part of the Island enjoying the scents and the savours of the Mediterranian. Return on board in Santa Teresa di Gallura and overnight stay in the roadstead.
Day 7 - Cannigione – Arzachena – San Pantaleo – Portisco - Olbia. Enjoy the sea air as you sail to Cannigione. From here you pedal to Arzachena and the surrounding area where you will see many monuments of the Nuragico period. In the late afternoon return onboard in Portisco and set sail again to the Port of Marina di Olbia.
Day 8 - Departure. Disembarkation at 09.00.
