One of the best sections of the Coast Path follows the rugged cliffs, sheltered coves and beaches of the Lizard and is the basis of this break.

With wonderful views across Mounts Bay, a glorious variety of wild flowers and seabirds and haunting stories of the sea, these walks are full of interest and spectacular scenery. They also take you inland through special marshland habitats and onto the ancient Goonhilly Downs while your base in Mullion has a beach nearby, ideal for a refreshing dip. Attractions : Goonhilly Earth Station, Kynance Cove, Lizard village and Lighthouse, Predannack Downs

3 day, 2 night

Day 1 - Arrive and check in, then a steady ascent takes you onto the Predannack downs. You'll traverse farmland from here towards the Goonhilly Downs dotted with standing stones and burial mounds. The area you are covering is all part of a National Nature Reserve with rare plants and wildlife. Day 2 - A gently undulating walk that takes you across farmland to the coast at Gunwalloe. Halzephron cliff will give you stunning views before you follow the coast path back to Mullion. Day 3 - Today you will follow the coast around Britains most southerly point. You'll see local landmarks such as the Lion's Den and the Lizard lighthouse as well as enjoying the erosional features created by the sea. A gentle walk with stunning scenery. Depart
