Day 1 - Arrive at Abersee Day 2 - You will take a ferry to St Wolfgang before travelling to the Falkenstein wall. The wall will give you an extensive view of te beautiful lake before continuing around the lake to the village of Mozart - St Gilgen. You will then return by ferry. Day 3 - You will again take the ferry to St Wolfgang before proceeding along the Sattle walk to the Lake Schwarzensee where you will be able to taste some local delicacies courtesy of Madame Lore. You will then meander down a gorge to the lake promenade in Srobl. The day will finish with a short bus journey to Bad Ischl - the emporers summer residence. Day 4 - A day of rest for you to enjoy the sights and activities available within Bad Ischl. Day 5 - Today you will complete the brine-pipeline walk to Bad Goisern. Salt has always been a source of income here and you will be able to see the historic influence in the area. Day 6 - You will spend the day continuing along the brine-pipeline to Hallstatt an old salt mine. The walk is gently sloping and offers beautiful views of the surrounding landscapes and villages, including Dachstein - Austria's highest mountain. You will then take a boat back across the lake and return to Bad Goisern. Day 7 - You will take a bus to Bad Ischl before walking along the Elisabeth walk to the little lake Nuseensee, before continuing on the River Ischl to Strobl. You will then proceed across the Blinkling moor back to Abersee to spend the night. Day 8 - Depart. Extra nights are avaiable on request at Lake Wolfgangsee, Bad Ischl and Bad Goisern.
