On this tour, you will complete two circular walks starting and ending in Tewkesbury.
Walk 1 - Follow the Severn Way across the battlefield that saw the end of the Wars of the Roses to the Saxon chapel at Deerhurst. Cross the river at Haw Bridge and return through Chaceley and Forthampton. This walk passes no fewer than five delightful riverside inns!
Walk 2 - Head north past the ancient Towbury Hill Fort to Twyning on the banks of the Avon. Here you can have lunch at the riverside inn before taking the little ferry across to the village of Bredon for a look around the majestic Tithe Barn.

Walk 3 - Head north by the Severn for a walk that takes you back to the best of traditional English country life. Stroll through parkland around a public school, watch cricket played on the village green and then enjoy fine views across Tewkesbury on the way back.
