The tour is approximately 290km and will take you through Assisi, Perugia and Spoleto, as well as a number of historical sites and beautiful scenery. The our is mostly flat with some undulations and remains mostly on country lanes and minor roads. Tour is available between April and June and then again in September to early October with arrivals every Saturday. July and August are too hot, so the tour does not run.

8 Days 7 Nights - Arrival on Saturday

Saturday - Arrive in Florence. Sunday - Take the train from Florence to Arezzo. Visit the historic churches and palaces before cycling across the Valdichiana plains in Southern Tuscany, enjoying the beautiful views of the mountains. Continue past Cortona to Trasimeno Lake. Monday - Cycle beside the lake to Torricella, before continuing to Perugia. Enjoy a sightseeing tour of the area including Lorenzo Cathedral and Priori Palace. Tuesday - Today you will travel from Perugia to Assisi, the home of St Francis. Along the way there are some stunning views, and Assisi has a plethora of historical and beautiful buildings. Wednesday - Visit a number of local towns and villages that are both beautiful and unique. These include Spello, Trevi and Campello Thursday - Cycle from Spoleto to Terni. Terni is well-known for it's pastry shops and the most creative cuisine in the region. You'll also be able to visit the magnificent marble falls. Friday - Today is more hilly than the rest of the tour. Enjoy the beautiful views as you cycle today, before collecting your luggage and taking the train to Rome. Enjoy the city of Rome before relaxing for the night Saturday - Depart
